For anyone not familiar with the Chinese wedding tradition “Door Games” it goes like this. On the day of the wedding, the groom, (with the help of his groomsmen) must prove his love and worthiness to his bride-to-be by performing feats of courage, strength and well just about anything the bridesmaids ask them to do. You’ll have to see their complete video to find out what they did but just know that it involved sardines, vinegar, a hair waxing kit, nail polish, dog biscuits and lots of push ups! Terry and the guys were up to the task though and everyone went on to have a fantastic wedding day. Here is our highlight from the day!

Great job Winter and Kevin ( and families) – for putting together such an awesome wedding in Philadelphia last month. We started the day at the Palomar Hotel in downtown Philly capturing all the “getting ready” excitement. Winter’s mom and grandma told the emotional story behind Winter’s unique wedding dress (see video). From there, we moved on to the historic Old St Josephs Church for a beautiful wedding ceremony. Then finally off to the Vie for great food, drink and fun. Check out this highlight reel to get a feel for all the joy that was in the air that day. Behind the scenes
Katie and Puneet’s wedding was a beautiful event in so many ways. But what struck me most was the thought and passion that each of them put into creating their wedding vows. Katie and Puneet shared their feelings for each other and affirmed their commitment to each other in such an honest and beautiful way. Truly inspiring. Now for the coolest thing – Katie and Puneet both share a love for the art of Capoeira (it’s how they met) and so their reception was highlighted with a Capoeira presentation which included performances from Katie and Puneet and many of their friends. Dandy Wellington and his Band kept things hoppin on the dance floor with some awesome tunes from the Big Band Era. Katie joined the band later in the evening showcasing her vocal talents by singing to her man – “My Baby Just Cares for Me”. Just an overall wonderful day on the farm. Enjoy our highlight!

Normally when I pack my camera gear it’s all business, but being part of the family, I got to have a lot of fun too. What an amazing three days we got to spend with Rosie and Mike at the beautiful Paradisus La Perla in Playa Del Carmen Mexico. Perfect resort, perfect weather, the biggest full moon of the year and 82 of their family and friends (who really knew how to party) made for an incredible weekend! Arriving two days before the wedding gave us the opportunity to do some fun things we usually don’t get to do. First, was a Rosie and Mike only romance shoot. Check out our previous post – you’ll see some R+M attitude there! Then as a surprise for Rosie and Mike, we rounded up the bridal party for a pretty fun music video shoot. We played both videos along with some wedding highlights at the Saturday reception. Thanks to Daniel from J&S Audio Visual for setting us up on the bigscreen. So many highlights but my favorite was the “White Party” on Friday night complete with fire dancers, cigar rollers, music, dancing … and lots of pretty white outfits. Rosie and Mike – thanks for letting us be part of this beautiful event!
